FAQ1 – When will be IBPS SO exam 2019 going to conduct?
Answer – IBPS SO 2019 exam tentative dates are 28.12.2019 & 29.12.2019 for Preliminary Examination and 25.01.2020 for Main Examination.

FAQ2 – When will registrations start and What is the registration process for IBPS SO exam?
Answer – Registrations dates are yet to announce. The registration process for IBPS SO will be through online mode only and there will be a single registration for both Preliminary and Main examination.

FAQ3 – What documents are required for applying in IBPS SO exam?
Answer – Candidates will be required to upload the following documents as per the specification given in advertisement:
  • Photograph of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg file
  • Signature of the Applicant – 10 kb to 20 kb in .jpeg file
  • Thumb impression of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg file
  • Scanned copy of handwritten declaration as per the format, which will be available in the respective advertisement – 50 kb to 100 kb in .jpeg file

FAQ4 – How many vacancies are there for IBPS SO 2019 exam?
Answer – IBPS declared around 1590+ vacancies for IBPS SO 2018 exam. This year also similar vacancies are expected. Here you can find the vacancies declared for the 2018-19 exam-

FAQ5 – What is the application fee for IBPS SO exam online form?
Answer – There is a fee of Rs. 600/- (For General and OBC) or Rs. 100/- (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) to fill the online application form of IBPS SO exam.

FAQ6 – How many phases are there in IBPS SO exam?
Answer – There are three phases in IBPS SO recruitment process: 1) Preliminary Exam 2) Mains Exam 3) Interview Round.

FAQ7 – Is there any age limit for IBPS SO exam?
Answer – Yes, the candidates must be minimum 20 years of the age and maximum 30 years of the age to be eligible to appear in this exam.

FAQ8 – Is there any negative marking in IBPS SO examination?
Answer – Yes, in both Preliminary & Mains exam there is a negative marking. A penalty of 0.25 marks is there for each wrong answer.

FAQ9 – Is the exam conducted in both online and offline mode?
Answer – No, IBPS SO 2019 exam is conducted in online based mode only.
