
This year’s first UGC NET exam is going to be held by National Test Agency (NTA) in June 2019 and the dates for the examination has been decided from June 20 to 28. Online application registration for this exam is now open from March 1, 2019 and registrations will end on March 30, 2019, so make sure you apply before March 30. Any post graduate degree holder can register for this exam and note that the exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Mode).
In this article I’m going to show you steps to apply for this UGC NET 2019 Application Form, so follow the steps below to successfully register for this exam:
Step 1: Registration
New users have to register on NTA official website for NET exam application form process, you should fill out all the required details to complete the registration on the site.
Note: If you are already a registered user then simply log-in to site for further process. (No need to register again.)

Step 2: Fill the details
Now the UGC NET 2019 exam online application form will be displayed to the user and you must fill all the required details carefully. Must cross check all the details before submitting the form.
After filling all the details, click on ‘Submit’ button, as soon as you submitted the form a review page will be shown where you can review the details and then click on ‘Final Submit’ button.
An application number will be provided after submitting the form, you must note this number for future log in purpose.
Step 3: Upload Photograph
After submitting the form, you can continue or can skip if you want to do the rest process later.
If you continue, now you need to upload your photograph and signature. You require scanned images of both with proper dimensions. Below are the details for the same:

Note: You must make sure all entries are valid and appropriate otherwise the form will be rejected.
Step 3: Application Fee Payment
Finally, after submitting form and uploading scanned photograph and signature. Now you will be asked to make the payment fee for UGC NET exam. You can pay using credit/debit card, online banking or E-challan. For the E-challan method, system will generate that, and you need to take a printout of it and submit it along with the required fee to any nearest bank branch.
Note: Take a printout of online application form, attendance slip and admit card.
Important points to note:
- You must complete step 2 & 3 otherwise online application form will remain incomplete.
- No refunds of fee are allowed once you submitted it.
- The whole process of applying for UGC NET 2019 exam is online therefore you not need to submit or send any documents to exam convener institute.
- Keep visiting NTA’s website in case of any changes made to process.
- Correction facility will be provided in April 2019 if you have made any mistake.
